Corky Canuck is the alter ego of Robina Byrd who is the alter ego of Kate Airlie. Kate first encountered Corky at Little Lake in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada where she was teaching in the local College. All of Corky’s adventures are told through Robina Byrd who believes she may have been a wild bird herself at one time! Corky travels around the world meeting up with old friends and making new ones wherever he goes. Robina loves to tell his stories to beginner readers from the ages of 3 to 7 and keeps up with Corky no matter where he goes next.
